Grace Notes: events, opportunities, announcements for 10-28-18

Grace would like to personally thank everyone who helped make our annual Fall Festival a huge success! Whether you helped set up/clean up, decorate your car trunks, or brought your smiling face, we are so blessed with the love this church body gives to our surrounding community. Thank you!

  • Nancy Robinson is an ordained deacon in the Virginia
Conference currently serving as the Mission Advocate for
the Southeast Jurisdiction. She is a full-time missionary
whose work connects local churches with what our missionaries
    are doing around the world.
  • She represents UMCOR and Global Ministries at District,
Conference and UMW events in the fifteen conferences
in SEJ. Much of her work has been leading workshops
about being in community with each other, sharing stories
of her experiences as a missionary in Sierra Leone
    and other parts of Africa.
  • The travel schedule Nancy keeps is quite an adventure
but is a great opportunity to meet new friends and discover
God’s presence everywhere! She lives in Richmond
with her husband Kip. Between them they have seven
children and ten grandchildren who keep her young and
    laughing!

Join a Global Prayer Meeting
International Day of Prayer for the
Persecuted Church

  • Sunday, November 4, 2018
  • There are many nations around the world where Christians
are systematically persecuted for their faith. You
are asked to set aside some time on November 4th to
pray for these persecuted Christians and that they will
know that other Christians are praying for them.
