Children and Youth

 

We invite you and your children to come and participate in the exciting activities happening at Grace!

The Children’s Ministry programs at Grace United Methodist Church are designed to engage young people through a variety of activities, classes, and service opportunities. We encourage children to take an active role in their church and their relationship with Christ. We have a group of dedicated volunteers who work together to provide fun programs year round. Opportunities for children include:

Nurseries – Nurseries are available during Sunday School and Worship Service for

Infants - a safe and stimulating place to play

Toddlers - Once the babies are stable on their feet, they are able to participate in more active fun and toddler Bible lessons and projects

Rotational Sunday School – Grace's pre-k and elementary Sunday School program is focused on providing a multi-sensory experience that allows children to gain familiarity with Bible stories.

Children’s Church – for children 3 years old – 1st grade, an opportunity during the worship service for young children to experience age appropriate lessons, games and projects.

Kids 4 Christ – Grace's Sunday evening kids program at which they sing, learn Bible stories, play games and create craft projects

 

Youth Sunday School - for 6th - 12th grade students. This class blends bible history along with current events, craft and cooking projects to provide students with an excellent foundation of faith.

UMYF - United Methodist Youth Fellowship - Grace's youth group is a time for young people grades 6-12 to fellowship, discuss current topics, provide missions and outreach, and have fun. We hold regular Sunday night meetings, provide local missions, take trips, and foster our relationship with Christ. Please see the church newsletter for dates and times for our activities this month.
